Write and Feel

Write and Feel

I write how I feel,
I feel how I write.
At the beginning you assume,
But once you get to know me, you continue to resume.
Everyday you wake is another chance at life,
Please don’t take that away by slaughtering me with a knife.

I write how I feel,
I feel how I write.
We sit and we think,
Now comes the ink.
Wondering why I have these dark brown eyes,
When they’re just filled with full of morn and sighs.

I write how I feel,
I feel how I write.
Laughter is a gift of joy,
Not to be confused by thinking my life is a toy.
So many times I wish I could trade,
Too many times that I’ve been betrayed.

I write how I feel,
I feel how I write.
You say our friendship is inseparable,
Yet I feel sometimes it was never compactable.
This is something that I’ve learned to trust,
Not to be drawn through the lines of lust.

I write how I feel,
I feel how I write.
We must learn to be ourselves,
And not to be different for somebody else.
The best gift of all times came from above,
Which is what I found, to be the infinite gift of love.

I write how I feel, and
I feel how I write.
